According to Egyptian reports, the young player signed a contract with a European marketing company, which in turn contacted Al-Ahly to inquire about the possibility of the player traveling to Barcelona for a period of living first.

Hamza Abdel Karim, who will turn eighteen next January 1, caught attention with the Egyptian junior national team in the U-17 World Cup, where he was nominated as the best player in several matches, and he amazed everyone with his scoring abilities and decisive touches.

Hamza scored two goals for Egypt in the World Cup held in Qatar, against Haiti (4-1) and Venezuela (1-1).

At the Al-Ahly club level, Hamza Abdel Karim was a constant top scorer in his club’s age groups, and at the age of 17 he participated for the first time with the first team, and is now part of it, as he played some matches as a main player, and also participated as a substitute in the African Champions League.

The 17-year-old has a good physical build, is good at finishing attacks inside the penalty area, and his main advantage is shooting, which made him attract the attention of major clubs, including Barcelona.
