MAGA Left Outraged Over J.Crews New $168 Sweater For Men I Hate Everything About This

MAGA has been left outraged over a pink, fair-isle patterned J.Crew sweater marketed towards men – claiming it is trying to ‘feminize’ them.

The conversation was sparked on X (formerly Twitter) after Juanita Broaddrick – a former nurse who accused Bill Clinton of raping her in 1978, allegations that he has fiercely denied and was never charged with – posted about the sweater on the social media platform to her 1.9 million followers.

The jumperwhich retails for $168 on J.Crew’s website and is described as a ‘cold-weather classic,’ is knit in a bubblegum-pink color, complete with pink, green and purple fair-isle detailing around its collar.

However, Broaddrick, and many others, were seemingly shocked that any male would be caught dead wearing the item.

‘Are you kidding me?? Men, would you wear this $168 sweater?’ Broaddrick, who is a big supporter of Donald Trump, wrote on Xincluding a picture of the sweater for good measure.

In response, she received over 3,000 replies, many of which agreed with her – includingTennessee Rep. Tim Burchett, who labeled the sweater as ‘something a sorority girl would wear in the ’80s.’

MAGA influencer David Freeman, who goes by his Gunther Eagleman online, also chimed in, claiming that it was something that California rep. Eric Swalwell would wear.

‘That’s a WOMAN’S sweater!’ one person wrote.

MAGA is losing it over a pink, fair-isle patterned J.Crew sweater, as they couldn’t believe that it was marketed towards men, labeling it as an item that is trying to ‘feminize’ them

Another agreed, ‘I hate everything about this for men. These brands trying their best to feminize men – it’s gross.’

‘My husband wouldn’t use a pink bathroom towel. Seriously, he wouldn’t,’ someone else typed.

Another user seconded, ‘That looks like it came out of the 10-year-old girls’ section of the 1987 Sears Christmas Catalogue.’

‘That’s a women’s sweater. The pattern is not a man’s pattern,’ one person asserted.

Others even joked that it was an item that would be found in California Governor Gavin Newsom’s closet, as one X user seemingly photoshopped the politician’s face onto the model’s head.

‘I can think of one person that will wear it,’ they wrote as the caption.

‘Is that part of the Gavin Newsom collection?’ a second X user asked.

Daily Mail reached out to J.Crew for comment.

In response, she received over 3,000 replies, many of which agreed with her

But interestingly enough, it looks like J.Crew could be a favorite in The Trump White House wardrobe.

In 2017, when Trump was serving his first term as President, his wife, Melania Trump, wore a $75 pink gingham J.Crew shirt on Thanksgiving Day, as they spent time with the U.S. Coast Guard in Riviera Beach, Florida, per Business Insider.

She paired the look with a pair of black jeans.

However, it doesn’t seem like many of Trump’s current female aides sport J.Crew often.

The ladies in Trump’s administration, like Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, seem to favor particular designers for their political engagements.

Over the past few months, the women have all been spotted in the designers Veronica Beard, Maje and Sandro – as well as Zara.

Their looks are preppy, polished, and put-together for their roles in the executive branch – and not to mention, quite expensive.

Veronica Beard, an American ready-to-wear brand founded by sisters-in-law Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard, seems to be a particular favorite among the ladies on Trump’s team.

British designer Self-Portrait, whose designs can cost upwards of $500, has also become a huge hit with the White House women, as Leavitt often dons their designs to hold press briefings with the media.
