The current edition of the African Cup of Nations will be held on Moroccan soil, during the period from December 21 to January 18, 2026, with the participation of 24 teams.

The Moroccan national team is competing in the tournament being held on its territory as one of the most prominent contenders to win the long-awaited title.

The teams of Morocco and the Comoros are playing in the framework of the first group competitions, which also includes the teams of Mali and Zambia.
