Hyundai Motor Donates 30 Cars To The G20 Summit In South Africa


The South Korean automaker said it will provide multi-purpose vehicles for the two-day G20 summit that will begin on Saturday in Johannesburg, to provide transportation for delegations from participating countries.

Hyundai Motor Company explained that it plans to enhance the competitiveness of its models through the first G20 summit to be held in Africa.

The Staria features a “highly adjustable cabin to suit diverse needs” along with “advanced safety and convenience features,” according to the company.

“It is very meaningful for us to support the first G20 summit held in Africa with our cars,” Kim Il-beom, head of Hyundai Motor’s global policy office, said in a press release, noting that the company will make efforts to make this event a success.
