LAURA CRAIK Patsy Kensit Proves Anything Liam Gallagher Does She Can Do Better As She Stars In Burberry Campaign

They might not always have been on the best of terms, but when it comes to their designer allegiances, Patsy Kensit and Liam Gallagher certainly appear to be mates – check mates.

Not content with making an estimated £400 million from Oasis’s 41-show global tour, Liam, 53, boosted his bank balance even further last year by appearing in Burberry’s summer 2025 advertising campaign.

Dressed in a selection of the British designer brand’s outerwear, the Oasis frontman was photographed alongside models Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung and his three children Gene, 23, Molly, 27 and Lennon, 25, in a festival-themed fashion shoot celebrating the idea that ‘it’s always Burberry weather’.

And now, his ex-wife Patsy Kensit, 57, is proving that anything Liam can do, she can do better – provided it doesn’t involve packing out Wembley Stadium.

Actress Kensit, who divorced Gallagher in 2000 after three years of marriage citing his ‘unreasonable behaviour’, has just been revealed as one of the faces of Burberry’s new spring campaign, following in the footsteps of British stars of stage and screen including Kate Winslet, Olivia Colman and Jennifer Saunders.

It’s Kensit’s first foray in front of the camera for the brand known for its trench coats and distinctive check, though she is a frequent fixture on Burberry’s front row.

Last February, she was on hand to watch her and Liam’s son, Lennon, model in Burberry’s autumn/winter 2025 show at London Fashion Week.

Rather than channeling festival fashion, as Liam did, Patsy’s look appears to owe to a certain remote Scottish castle than a muddy field.

Photographed in front of a four-poster bed dressed in a knee-length kilt, black riding boots and a quilted jacket, her outfit looks straight out of Claudia Winkleman’s wardrobe on the hit BBC1 show, Traitors.

Which is, perhaps, the plan. Given that every item Winkleman wears sells out or sees a spike in sales, Burberry wouldn’t be the only brand keen to benefit from what retailers have dubbed ‘the Claudia effect’.

No doubt Winkleman’s stylist will be checking the look out for the next season of Celebrity Traitors.
