“Ibou has come back to us, started his sessions again and expected to train with us today,” Slot told reporters.

This was followed by images from the club showing the defender in full training gear and smiling among his teammates.
It means that despite his poor form, he is likely to start alongside Virgil van Dijk at centre-half, leaving Joe Gomez waiting for his chance from the bench.

Did you know that for 12 years, throughout the 1980s, Liverpool’s development of Anfield was delayed by two women who refused to leave their home? Sam Milne investigates:
“Their plans were thwarted for more than 10 years by sisters Norah and Joan Mason, who had lived at No. 26 for 39 years when the club submitted their initial planning application in 1980.
“Initially five families had rejected the club’s proposals, but by 1984, Liverpool had bought every house except theirs on Kemlyn Road and knocked the properties down, leaving the sisters living in the sole remaining occupancy behind the stadium.
“They refused to move despite the proposal of 15 alternative homes in close proximity – one even being offered for just five pence per month for the rest of their lives, according to a Liverpool Daily Post report from the time.”
